What Helmet? KASK

The KASK Line Up – A Helmet for every ride.

We are lucky enough to be able to offer a range of KASK helmets to our customer base. KASK have been around for a long time, always producing premium products direct from Italy. Their reputation in the sport is second to none and their products service all types of riders from professionals to casual cyclists.

The Grow Getters Group has curated a range of 4 helmets from KASK, each one with some subtle variations, that we believe service a broad spectrum of our customers. We know that price is an important consideration when it comes to purchasing cycling gear, so we have researched KASK pricing Australia wide and believe we are offering the most competitive prices on these models – if you find something cheaper – let us know!

It is important that you choose the best helmet for your needs, so we will list out that basic advantages of each model and provide some personal opinion after riding these for a few months.

PROTONE ICON

A new model for KASK. Personally if I was to buy and ride only one helmet it would be this one. Very comfortable, with just the right amount of padding inside, well ventilated and then with the contoured rear profile, quite Aero as well. One part I really love about this helmet and the same for all KASK product is the leather chin strap – a small detail that I think adds a sense of quality and comfort.

WASABI

For me this may be even more comfortable than the Icon – it really is luxurious on the inside, but with that comes a bit of a weight penalty. This is the model that has the movable middle section, so you can close the vent for maximum Aero, or open it for ventilation – this function makes this helmet a great every day choice.

VALEGRO

Probably the most popular item we sell. The Valegro has been around for a while now. It looks great has plenty of ventilation ports and is very light weight. Almost perfect for long summer training days, keeping the head cool the entire day.

UTOPIA

Race focus. Super Lightweight. Super Aero. If you are looking to gain some benefit with your helmet then this is the one to choose. Not as luxurious as say the Wasabi, but you have to forgo some comfort when only racing matters. Save this one for the road or crit race.
